Mr Ebert simply loves Agnes Varda, his 4 star review of The Beaches of Agnes is here. For a Francophile like yourself, a must see?
Robert, as a subscriber to Ebert's mailing list, I had mentally noted that he gave that 4 (out of 4) stars, and that review is indeed glowing. I had planned to see it, more because of Varda's reputation.
