I'm really looking forward to "Rescue Dawn". Can't wait.
Marina, I typically don't like war films (with some notable exceptions: Jarhead, Saviour, Full Metal Jacket), but am keen to see anything by Herzog. I was at an advance screening; it doesn't get a release here until April. It was very well done. I'll probably see it again closer to the Australian release date.
did you get free tickets to those flicks Paul?
not that it matters whether or not, looks like you subsidise the industry here to an unprecedented degree!
You are really taking off a bit.
You should get your reviews into Beat and Impress, I think they just publish volunteer cotributors, and your reviews far surpass their standard anyhow,
It is good for building up your CV if you wish to work in the industry. As I see it, you have the talent, so you may as well be on the inside and getting paid for it in the future. Seeing the previews helps, then if you get an accreditation you might be able to see them all for free anyhow. You put enought time that should be rewarded for your insightful opinions.

give me an email ;)
Delon, I had an invite to Rescue Dawn; I paid for the rest. Yeah, I spend quite a bit on film tickets, though I do get to quite a few freebies these days. My blog gets me various invites, plus I'm a hound for free and advance screenings.
I'm currently researching for a relatively long article (2,000 - 10,000 words I hope) that I will try to get published somewhere. I have to write it first, though.
Thanks for your generous comments.
