Given that Kojo are releasing Martyrs in September, it's unlikely I'll see it at MIFF. There is little good horror around, though the Japanese and Koreans turn out some good pieces (Audition anyone?).Paul Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10965628567103267009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34898184.post-60797313286213265302009-07-13T09:17:51.988+10:002009-07-13T09:17:51.988+10:00Thanks for making this list....Thanks for making this list....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34898184.post-56807534120842125762009-07-13T09:11:45.198+10:002009-07-13T09:11:45.198+10:00As an update, watched my DVD of "Martyrs"...As an update, watched my DVD of "Martyrs" and I must say it is one of the most amazing films I've ever seen (much less horror films). I sat transfixed by this and am now planning to see it on the big screen. Rough Aunties was on at awkward times at the SFF so I am hoping it will be more convenient at MIFF. The doco was shot in rural and suburban South Africa with some children's rights activists (five ladies, both black and white).

What these ladies acomplish in the weeks of filming is staggering.
